This Privacy Policy describes how RootsGoods Private Limited ("we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, stores and shares information when you install, register on or use the RootsGoods Warehouse Management mobile application (the "App") available on the Google Play Store and through other authorised channels.

The App is a separate product offered by RootsGoods Private Limited, designed for warehouse managers, owners and bulk buyers of agricultural commodities (primarily maize) to plan storage, manage inventory, list rentals, raise purchase and sale orders, scan inbound and outbound consignments, and interact with our AI-assistant features such as MaizeGPT.

By installing, registering on or using the App, you confirm that you have read and agreed to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of it, please uninstall the App and discontinue use of our services.

1. About this Policy

This document is intended to comply with applicable Indian privacy laws including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules thereunder, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and the disclosure obligations of the Google Play Store.

Account the unique profile created for you to access the App.

Usage Data data collected automatically through your interaction with the App, such as feature usage, session duration, crashes and device diagnostics.
You / User the natural person, or the company or other legal entity on whose behalf such person uses the App, in their capacity as a warehouse manager, owner, buyer, seller or rental party.

During registration and ongoing use of the App, you may provide:

Identity information: your full name, photograph, date of birth and government-issued identification (where required for KYC).
Contact information: mobile number, email address, alternate phone, postal address, state, district and PIN code.
Business information: warehouse name, GST number, business registration details and the role you operate in (owner, manager, buyer, seller).
Warehouse profile data: warehouse address and coordinates, length, width, height, wall gaps, parking area, number of loading and unloading bays, storage capacity and operational notes.
Order and rental data: purchase orders, sell orders, expected delivery dates, quantities, prices, rental rates, available rental space and counterparty contact details.
Communication content: questions you submit to MaizeGPT and any text or images you share through in-App messaging or support.
